Jan 1800 Edmund Fuller then of Steuben, Oheida County, New York, sold land in Bristol to John Fuller of Bristol.  Bristol was a part of Farmington until 1786 and Southington was the next town south east.

                              REVOLUTIONARY SERVICE
You would have a bar through Nathaniel Fuller (1710-1780) who took the oath of FIDELITY in 1777.  You would also have a bar through Simeon Fuller who was a member of the Committee of Southington to purchases supplies for the Army.  I am sure this record above is correct, and I also find that Simeon Fuller served also as follows, and I presume he is the same man, although he may not be.  “Seventh Regt. Col. Charles Webbs, 1775, recruited July 1775 in Fairfield, Litchfield ads New Haven Counties, 6th Company, Capt. Edward Shipman’s.  Sergt. Simeon Fuller, July 8th-Dec. 18, 1775.  Record of Conn. Men in the Revolution Page 82 Pub. by Adjutant General and Compile by Alfred Johnston, 1889.  Fifth Battalion, Wadsworth’s Brigade, Col. William Douglas, 1776.  Eight Company, 2nd Lieut. Simeon Fuller, residence not given but other officers from Haddam and Farmington.  Same Volume as above, Page 406.  “This Assembly do establish Simeon Fuller to be Captain of the 2nd company in the town of Kent.
“Records of Colonial Connecticut, Vol. 13, Page 375.”  “This Assembly do establish Simeon Fuller to be Captain of the 5th Company, 15th Regt. of Militia, Oct. 1780”
Above takes your Fuller line back ten generations, including yourself.
(Jenny Fuller Daily of Omaha, Nebraska had this lineage searched out in order to establish her eligibility, if any to the DAR.  This explains this part of the search.  This was done in 1930’s some time.)
You will note the family name or names of Simeon.  I could not find any Re. Service for Edmund Fuller, in Conn., it may be that he served fromsome other state, only that of his father Simeon, and his grandfather Nathaniel in Conn. But often three generations served.
